The brief consisted in the creation of a souvenir for the Brera Art Gallery, managing to highlight the importance of the neighborhood and its historical identity.
A souvenir must be a simple, immediate, but at the same time effective object: it must attract the attention of the museum visitor in a short time. With "quelli di Brera" the spirit of the neighborhood was highlighted through five important personalities who lived there:
Marco Zanuso, Gae Aulenti, Piero Manzoni, Mariangela Melato and Gualtiero Marchesi.
The souvenir must be a memory of the place, an object that can refer with the shapes, colors and smells to a past moment and, why not, entice you to come back.

The history of Brera is very rich in illustrious personalities, it was therefore necessary to make a choice, diversifying in order to meet the different tastes of visitors.
Marco, designer, architect, winner of four "Compasso d'Oro"; Gae, designer and architect; Piero, one of the leading exponents of conceptual art who became globally famous thanks to "Artist's shit"; Mariangela, film and theater actress, among the numerous awards she has won is the "Nastro d’Argento"; Gualtiero, a world-renowned chef, one of his best-known creations is risotto with gold leaf.
Each of them has woven relationships with people and places, leaving an indelible mark of their passage. This is what the spirit of the neighborhood represents.
