aprica

2019, group project

The aprica bookcase was born from the desire to design a complement that does not limit itself to containing books and personal effects, but that defines a space.

A distinctive feature is the absence of hardware, instead we used a conical joint made with a pantograph, which allows the structure to be self-supporting only thanks to the coupling of the panels.

Aprica is made up of three vertical MDF panels supported by six horizontal shelves, which guarantee balance.

Thanks to this project, I learned the value of prototyping and the importance of listening to suppliers, from whom to learn new production techniques, to be applied to projects.
